The sutton coldfield radio society g3rsc, meet every 2nd and fourth Monday of the month. except bank holidays , at Sutton Coldfield Rugby Club, from 7 30pm , everyone welcome to visit. bank holiday meeting may be changed to on air net on 2mtr .members notified by email..

we also have on air open net on the 1st an 3rd Monday of the month from 7 30pm on 2mtr band fm ,on frequency 145.250,if busy up or down to nearest free channel.

every one welcome to come and join in and we operate even on most bank holidays.

There is a 4 mtr on air open net on the 2nd Tuesday of the month ,from 7 30pm on frequency 70.475 fm if clear or up or down to clear nearest free channel..again every one welcome to join in..also sunday evennings 6meter on air open net 50.135 ssb from 8 30pm again all welcome. but tune in see if on air .as not garrenteed every sunday ..

on air dmr open net on 4th tuesday of the month on gb7fw. fw local 2/slot 2

from 7 30pm .

The club also supports, licence trainning and exams to suit your needs.

we also do morse code at the club, and have various radio`s set up for members to use on hf/fm/computer programe.

We have great disabled access ie lift and disabled toilet`s up stairs by room and down stairs..lift acces not sutable for large mobility scooters due to small turnning area ..please contact me see if we can help you with access or go to club website

The Sutton Coldfield radio society .have been running many exam training courses and exam nights over a long period of time now . tutors Jason m0jdm and mike m0aze have put an endless amount of time and preparation for the candidates ,who I must say have been very successful with there foundation and intermediate licences and we have gained a influx of valued members ..there has been help from members also during the learning cycle and Barry m1cqn exam secretary has proven invaluable to getting all the paper work and test papers back and forth with no delays ..

the tutors are now having a break from there roles to enjoy some radio and club time. but this do`s not mean they are not available for questions and further candidate list for October time when they will carry on with there teaching and support ... thanks to everyone in the club as without members there would be no club ..rob bird secretary ..
